Portsmouth Athenaeum

Charlie Strickland and I have been invited to give a screening of Four Days of Fury on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, 7:00 PM at the Portsmouth Athenaeum in Portsmouth, NH.

This event is part of their series on Great Fires: Conflagrations that Reshaped New England.

For further details, please visit the Portsmouth Athenaeum website.

Four Days of Fury is a forthcoming documentary about the largest forest fire in New Hampshire. The conflagration began on April 28, 1941 at a portable saw mill located on Gustin Pond in the small town of Marlow.  Over a four day-day period, the flames consumed more than 25,000 acres.  You can learn more in my initial posting.
